Managed through carelessness to lose years of posts so it will soon be time to start over. Plus, happily, I've been diverted by a travelling life.

No prizes for guessing what will be top of the 2019 New Year Resolutions!

Vango - designed for extremes

In 1966, the famous orange F10 Classic tent hit the market. Still available today, the Classic STD is as recognisable now as it was over forty years ago; available for 2-4 people, it's an easy to pitch, tough and durable design. Ever since, Vango has been engineering Force Ten and providing adventurers with a choice of durable, lightweight, strong and easy to pitch tents utilising cutting edge technology throughout the range to guarantee performance when it’s needed most.

The Helium Superlight (pictured) weighs in at just 980g for the one person model and 1140g for the two person model.  The hybrid tunnel design and TBS® Pro-Tension Band System provide a solid structure and the extremely light yet waterproof Protex® 20D SPU-RN 5000 groundsheet provides protection against damp. Featuring flat pole sleeves, to increase rigidity and reduce wind resistance, it also uses ultra light F10 Flexlite poles to give smooth and snag free travel through the pole sleeves and eyelets for easy pitching. To top it off there is the Protex® 3000 outer fabric to provide unparalleled water protection.
