Managed through carelessness to lose years of posts so it will soon be time to start over. Plus, happily, I've been diverted by a travelling life.

No prizes for guessing what will be top of the 2019 New Year Resolutions!

Super warmth

Vango's (www.vango.co.uk) range of Supernova sleeping bags maintain maximum body heat and feature minimum weight, ideal for winter camping. Costing around £90, the Supernova 5000 is a five season ( it's really warm!) synthetic bag featuring Vango’s latest innovation for 2010, the Thermal Embrace System, and Insulate Aero hollow fibre insulation to help trap air to increase insulation. The TES system allows the sleeping bag to hug your body whilst allowing freedom of movement thanks to the elasticised thread in the lining, reducing the amount of air around the body to offer maximum insulation and warmth.
As well as the 5000 model the Supernova range features a four season 3000 model (£80) and three/four season 1000 model (£70) which also benefit from TES and other Supernova features including a Polair RSN Shell and Polair mini-RSN lining, aluminised reflective interlining, 4 panel 3D hood with insulated face baffle and an insulated shoulder and zip baffle.
